LANDTHINK Pulse: The Number One Rule in Real Estate Motivates Land Buyers the Most

Last month, we posed the following question to our audience: What do you think motivates buyers to purchase land the most? LANDTHINK.com, an authoritative online resource for advice, knowledge, opinions and trends related to land, is pleased to announce the October results. Our informal online survey revealed that a whopping 60.2% of respondents think that location motivates land buyers the most. So, it seems, “location, location, location” isn’t just a worn-out real estate phrase, it still has a lot of meaning. As land industry professionals will attest, the location of a property is the topmost determining factor in its value both now and in the future.

LANDTHINK subscribers, fans, followers and land industry professionals across the country voiced their opinion and here’s how the results panned out:

  • 60.2% said LOCATION motivates land buyers most
  • 37.5% said PRICE motivates land buyers the most
  • 2.3% said SIZE motivates land buyers the most

Beginning last May, LANDTHINK.com has asked for participation in a series of questions, the LANDTHINK Pulse. Each month, we ask one, straightforward question, in an effort to gather interesting insight into the current land real estate market. Thank you to everyone who participated and shared the Pulse with friends and connections in the land industry. We at LANDTHINK are proud to say that the number of responses nearly tripled last month since we launched the first survey question!

Congratulations to Susan Floyd, winner of the $100 Amazon gift card after answering the October Pulse question! Susan is Director of Marketing at National Land Realty, at their Greenville, South Carolina, office location. Thank you, Susan, and to everyone who participated in LANDTHINK’s October Pulse!
